When does registration begin?
The registration is set to be launched on the 5th of October 2013. Henceforth, it is an ongoing process whereby you can update your profile online anytime.

What is the latest date to register?
We anticipate that the first round of registration should be completed by November 22nd 2013. Moving forward, it will be on an on going basis. You will be able to update you and your family’s data as and when there are changes e.g. relocation etc.

How do I register?
From the login page, choose the Register Now! link on the right. After asking for some basic information, it will advise that your login details and password will be sent to you shortly. Please allow some time before the login is sent to you. This could take up to 1 day. Once you receive your login details, you will be guided through some final questions to complete your registration. Each member of your household is allocated a unique username which is required for the registration. It is important that people use their own unique username to register. One adult member of the household can register all members in their household.

Why do I need to register?
Registration will ensure that your details are accurately reflected on our systems and that any new members of the Jamat are able to register their details. The information you submit will help the National Council to develop initiatives in order to provide a better service to the Jamat.

Who should register?
Registration is restricted to Jamati members residing in the Far East countries which fall under the Ismaili Council for the Far East. These countries include : Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Hong Kong, China, South Korea, Japan, Cambodia and Vietnam. All Jamati members who are residents in these countries should register. People who are visiting these countries on a tourist / visit visa need not to register. Students residing in these countries on a student visa should register themselves. Further, students originally from these countries however residing in countries outside of Far East on student visa should also register.

Should I register my non-Ismaili spouse/child?
Yes, you should register all individuals in your household and this includes non-Ismaili spouses.

How long will registration take?
The easy online registration takes upto 20-30 minutes to complete (for a family of 4). For single households, the process takes 10 minutes.

What if my login details do not work?
If you have problems accessing your account, please follow the Forgotten Username/Password link and one of the Admin team will assist you or if you are registering on your own, you will receive an email with the password.

What if I don’t have internet access?
If you do not have internet access, you can still register at your local Jamat through assigned volunteers or you can ask your local Mukhi/Kamadia to help you.

What happens if my computer fails while I am registering?
In the first instance, you should check that the problem is not with your internet provider or computer. If you find you are unable to continue your online registration, please use the contact link at the top of the page and one of the Admin team will send you an email to assist you.

What should I do if I know people who will not have heard about this registration process or are unable to register themselves?
If you know of any family members or members of the Jamat (residing in the Far East) who may not be aware of registration process, please inform them of it.
If you know of any members of the Jamat who are not able to register themselves, please inform your local Mukhi Kamadia. This may include anyone who may be in a nursing home, hospital or elderly living on their own.
We are relying on you to help us register as many members of the Jamat as possible.

How will I know if my registration has been successful?
You will see a message on the screen confirming that your registration has been successfully completed and submitted.

Can I amend my details if I have made a mistake?
Yes, you can update details for both yourself and other members of your household at any time. You can use the handy links around the site, such as the View/Edit your personal and contact information link on the main screen after login, or the edit button permanently displayed in the top right of the screen.

What if somebody does not live in the same household anymore?
Those individuals that have moved away will have to register their new household separately. If you know of such individuals, please let them know that they will have to register separately.

If they are registered in your household, you can mark them as not living with you by reviewing their details under your profile. A button will appear at the top of the screen asking Does this individual not live with you?.
